St John's Cricket Trip to Lords

In June, the F2 & F3 members of the St Johns School Cricket Squad will be visiting ‘The Home of Cricket’ Lords Cricket ground. While at the ground, the team will be watching the 1st test match of this summer when England welcome Sri Lanka .

The game will allow the students to watch some of the best players in the world, such as Jimmy Anderson, Alastair Cook and Joe Root. This will be an amazing experience for the children, to watch up close the technique of these players and come away with some ideas to how they can improve their games.

They will also enjoy the atmosphere of the crowds and hopefully this will inspire some of our boys to become future top class cricketers themselves!

St John's Football team to visit Malaga Football Cub

In June, members of the St John's Prep School Football team will be off to Spain to visit La Rosaleda Stadium, the home of Malaga Football Club.

Whilst on the trip, the students will have an action packed time, with training sessions provided by professional coaches from the club, a tour of the stadium and a friendly football match that has been arranged against a local school team.

The boys will also enjoy the amazing hotel facilities at Atalaya Park Golf Hotel & Resort, which has been used by many professional football teams as their base for pre-season or mid-season training camp.
